This Crestron module brings APC power and outlet-state information into a control project so the rack can participate in service and recovery logic. It is built for systems where knowing the actual power state is more useful than assuming a device reboot happened.
That visibility can support cleaner troubleshooting around sources, processors, displays, network gear and other rack-mounted devices. The point is not to automate every reboot; it is to give the Crestron program reliable information to work with.
Obsidian can integrate the module into project-specific SIMPL/SIMPL+ workflows, touch-panel service pages and recovery sequences while keeping the control path understandable for the next programmer.
